Being an entrepreneur isn’t easy. There are a lot of things that go into it, and success is far from guaranteed. Individuals need to be willing to take risks and own their mistakes, otherwise they’ll never make it as far as some of the most successful entrepreneurs. One of the best ways to go further as an entrepreneur is by listening to those experts. Many of them have chosen to go out of their way to share their knowledge and experience, and one of the most popular ways of doing this is through podcasts. Podcasts work great with many of our busy lives, especially the busy life of an entrepreneur. Here are a few great podcasts to listen to if you’re trying to succeed as an entrepreneur.

Youpreneur FM

If you’re looking for a show that covers a variety of entrepreneur topics and features guest hosts from all aspects of being an entrepreneur, check out Youpreneur FM. The host, Chris Drucker, hosts new episodes every week that can last from 5 minutes to an hour, with each episode focusing on a variety of topics such as marketing yourself, launching online products, and much more. This is a great show for anyone in the entrepreneurial field, from bloggers to solopreneurs and so much more. This is a great show with plenty of straightforward advice that anybody can make use of.

StartUp

Starting your own business is far from easy, and getting tips from seasoned professionals is always a great place to start. Each episode, host Alex Blumberg, an award winning radio journalist, and his co-host Lisa Chow, discuss topics such as choosing a name for your company, being an entrepreneur and a parent at the same time, and so much more. Episodes only last for about 30 minutes, and the show has become so popular it was even adapted into a sitcom on ABC known as alex,  Inc.

How I Built This

Similar to the previous entry, How I Built This dives into how successful companies are built and includes every detail involved, good or bad. Host Guy Raz often has guest hosts and discusses how each host was inspired to begin their entrepreneurial venture as well as how they got to where they are now. To top it off, Raz also discusses the impact each of these companies has had on the world or their respective field with their founders and CEOs, featuring guests such as Tyler Haney of Outdoor Voices and Jake Burton of Burton Snowboards.
